I'm not ashamed.  My manners have imporved so much since I started watching.  :P:

Now if anyone could explain what Teletubbies is all about, I'd watch that too.

I really don't know what to say. I've watched Barney and Teletubbies, and I'd never inflict either of them on a child.

Now, my co-worker was singing something from the Wiggles the other day that sounded interesting. Something about vegetables being yummy yummy.

I like Elmo. He's small and cute and fuzzy and loveable.

Telly has to be one of my favorites though.

I was watching an Elmo video with my niece this summer, Oscar said, "Where is the little red menace?" I couldn't stop laughing for about two minutes.

[quote name='Carrie' date='Sep 23 2005, 09:01 AM']I learned a different version...

In a cabin in the woods
Little man by the window stood
Saw a rabbit hoping by
Knocking at the door

"Help me! Help me!" was his plea
Before the hunter exterminates me.
"Little rabbit, come inside.
Safely you'll abide."
Just a slight difference

When my sister lost her husband in 2003, she was pregnant with her second and her oldest was 18mos --- AND it was in Sydney Australia, home of the Wiggles. My nephew and I watched the Wiggles all the time, and I learned they were unemployed school teachers who thought up a new gig.

My sister reflects on that two week period (and immediately afterward) as the 'Wiggily Widowhood' ---all the trauma and sadness put to the music of the Wiggles in the background as they electronically babysat her toddler while she made funeral arrangements (and ultimately arrangements to escape Australia)

It appears we're of the same mind when it comes to children's songs!

Maybe we should form a kids' song company and do GOOD stuff!
