Kilroy the Ninja Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 World Series Bound Baby! GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kilroy the Ninja Posted October 20, 2005 Author Posted October 20, 2005 Bump 'cause my 'Stros deserve the recognition!
Kilroy the Ninja Posted October 20, 2005 Author Posted October 20, 2005 I think the Cards put up a good fight, and I hate to see Busch stadium go - it's truly beautiful at night - but I am uber happy that the Astros finally get a chance in the Fall Classic.
StMichael Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 I'm just rooting for former Yankee Andy Pettitte..
Era Might Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 (edited) The Cardinals are frauds. Period. I think this will be one of the more exciting World Series in a while. Last year was great for Red Sox fans, but it wasn't really a good baseball series. Deep down, I expect Chicago to take it. Both teams have excellent pitching, but the White Sox are much better offensively. BUT, Houston has that wildcard charm going for them. I think they might pull it off in 7. Janana8706 Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Why do you think cards are frauds. I love my cards!!!!!!! I'm sad to see they aren't going, but now it'll make it easier to cheer a team. I hope the White Sox win. I love Crede!!!!!!
Kilroy the Ninja Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 Well it's still a GO ASTROS thread. So GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!
StColette Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I'm really torn about who I want to win lol I mean part of me wants the Astros to because well they've won or have never been. Then there's Chicago who hasn't won since 1917. lol I'll be happy with either.
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Even thought I booed that astros, I want the astros to win because the white sox are blah.
Kilroy the Ninja Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 Well I for one appreciate your candor. I've no idea what the White Sox record is, but I am happy to see the Astros get the chance to go. GO ASTROS!!!!!!!!
Jaime Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I hate the Sox And I may have tickets in Houston
khouse Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Alright, I'm a long time lurker on this site but this baesball talk is forcing me to make one of my first posts. And all I gotta say is GO WHITE SOX!!! I have been a Sox fan all my life and we didn't get any credit all year long even though we had the best record and were in 1st place wire to wire in the AL. When the playoffs came all the "experts" picked Boston. And they were wrong we sweept them and made them look like a minor league team rather than a defending World Champion. Then it was onto the Angels. We dropped the 1st game and then came back to have FOUR complete games thrown by our starters for the first time in playoff since... well a while. Go White Sox. Keep proving them wrong.
