Anastasia13 Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 (edited) Coolness. I wasn't sure on some of these, but I'm something like: You scored as Anselm. Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?' Anselm 73% John Calvin 73% Martin Luther 67% Augustine 67% Karl Barth 53% Charles Finney 47% Friedrich Schleiermacher 47% Jrgen Moltmann 47% Jonathan Edwards 40% Paul Tillich 20% Edited October 21, 2005 by Light and Truth
Sojourner Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 You scored as Augustine. You have a big view of God and also take human sin and depravity very seriously. Predestination is important for you. Augustine 100% Anselm 93% Karl Barth 80% Jonathan Edwards 80% Friedrich Schleiermacher 67% J Moltmann 53% Martin Luther 40% Paul Tillich 33% John Calvin 33% Charles Finney 27%
cmotherofpirl Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 (edited) You scored as Karl Barth. The daddy of 20th Century theology. You perceive liberal theology to be a disaster and so you insist that the revelation of Christ, not human experience, should be the starting point for all theology. Karl Barth 100% Anselm 93% Augustine 80% John Calvin 73% Friedrich Schleiermacher 67% Jonathan Edwards 47% Jn Moltmann 47% Martin Luther 40% Paul Tillich 40% Charles Finney 20% The geek nerd dork test was more fun. Theologian in Training Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Perhaps because I am in a bit of a rush, but I scored 100% on three different ones. Ultimately, I came out as Anselm, but at 100% also was Karl Barth and Augustine...the Augustine I like, Barth on the other hand
cmotherofpirl Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I don't know about Karl Barth, but if Theo makes a sad face I am in trouble

It might be helpful to know them if you want to debate Protestants. To be honest, I haven't heard of any of the other guys and I'm pretty sure most of my Protestant friends haven't either.
