missionseeker Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 They were born yesterday. The mother is a border collie. We are not quite sure what the father is but we think he is some type of houndish thing. They are black and white. One is tricolored very slightly. We are in south central Alabama. Free. They are sooo adorable. Oh, and they'll be used to kids cuz there are seven of us the younger three are 8,7,and 3. they will look so precious w/ a little red ribbon on their necks.
Guest T-Bone Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 I'll take one, but you have to mail him Parcel Post. UPS doesn't deliver to the dorms.
Sojourner Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 If I were home more, I'd DEFINITELY have a dog. As it is, I have to be a dog owner vicariously.
1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 My wife and I are looking for a new dog, but we want to make sure the dog gets along with our current dog. We're looking at all the places in the area every few weeks but we've yet to find one she likes. By South Central Alabama, I take it you're somewhere around Montgomery.
Sojourner Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 One of my friends has the BEST dog, Boudreaux. Boo was living on the streets of NO when my friend found him a few years ago. My friend was out of work at the time, so had plenty of time to train him, and now Boo is the best-trained dog you'll ever meet. Totally obedient -- and BEAUTIFUL. I'm in the top 5 to inherent Boo if anything happens to my friend.
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 I have a dog, but I want a puppy golden retriever.
franciscanheart Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 i want a puppy. my doggie is about to die.
Cow of Shame Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005
can you mail a dog?
Yes....sort of. Usually you have to buy 'em a plane ticket & pick them up at the airport. I know that some cat & dog breeders ship....
photosynthesis Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 i already have a doggie... if i had my own place, and enough time to devote to a puppy, i would gladly take one of your puppies what about posting an ad in your parish bulletin?
missionseeker Posted November 1, 2005 Author Posted November 1, 2005 (edited)
Pictures!!!! Puppy Pictures!!! Please?
I don't think I can. I definetely don't know how to post the pictures. And the digital camera only works if it is attatched to the computer and there is no scanner hooked up to this computer. And the puppies are in the barn.
HUGS. My dog died when I was in the Army. I tried taking Emergency Leave. I almost made it out of there until my CO asked, "What kind of parents name their child Bootsie?" I was so close. Being honest smells of elderberries...sometimes.
desertwoman Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 My dog had puppies and was hanged and strung up by animal activists that said that i was a bad owner for letting my dog get pregnant.

Of course my friend, being the outdoorsy guy that he is, appreciates and encourages the hunting skills Boudreaux picked up on the street -- he brags about how Boo is a "stone cold killer."
