cmotherofpirl Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Today is election day in many parts of the US. If you don't exercise your right to vote, you have lost the right to change anything AND the right to complain about it.
homeschoolmom Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I don't even think we have anything to vote for this year. School board? I'm not sure... I suppose I will go to the school and see if there's anything going on down there... I haven't seen ANY signs for anything this year-- not even a school referendum... So, I think I'm going to be out of luck, I like voting....

Theoketos Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I Texas we are up holding the dignity of marriage....and arguing over rail roads....
Carrie Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I voted this morning at 6:30 in my pjs. I wasn't thrilled with either choice but I voted nonetheless.
azaelia Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 We've got a gay rights referendum here Yay for controversy.
Sojourner Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 We've got very little going on. I think there are a couple of township offices up for grabs, but not in my township.

Thy Geekdom Come Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I'm not registered to vote in Ohio and I've been away from Nebraska too long to know what's going on. :

As much as I don't care for Bloomberg, he got my vote as well. I should run next time.

My voting record is between me, God, and the lucky quarter I take with me into the voting booth.

Carrie Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Well, if you back me in the next election, you'll be publicly known as a... Carriecrat? Republicarrie? Carrieist?
