theculturewarrior Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I'm going to have to say mine is Adobe Acrobat!
philothea Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Oh, good call! Adobe must have the suckiest programmers in the world. Hm. Acrobat is the lamest, most annoying program on the Linux machine, definitely. I want to calculate someday how many BILLIONS of instructions it takes to render a dang box. On the iBook? Hmmmmmmm. Probably the terminal program which I screwed the settings up on, and now cannot figure out how to undo. It's a very low-annoyance computer in general. And I have no real reason to use the terminal progam, except to run occasional Unix builtin so I can feel geeky.
theculturewarrior Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 Actually, there are two programs I hate. Adobe Acrobat and Deep Freeze. Deep Freeze is a security program that resets the computer to the way the techie guys want it to be every day. So everything you save, and every update you put on it is erased at the end of the day. And since Adobe is updated every five seconds .pdf's always freeze.
Era Might Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Music Match Jukebox. The stupid thing always prevents me from shutting down. I have to manually shut it down in Task Manager, or else I get a box saying "Could not close MMJB".
theculturewarrior Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 I just use Windows Media Player, or Real Player if I have to, but WMP is my default.

I'm not a big fan of OpenOffice.org, since it takes forever to load on my computer... On Windows computers, I don't like RealPlayer because it's always giving me silly messages and even though I tell it I don't want to run in the taskbar it still does it anyway. I don't like MSN Messenger, but it's almost impossible to uninstall.
Laudate_Dominum Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 The most annoying program on this particular computer is Windows XP.

Publisher IS awful. I love Quark best when it comes to publishing programs. Although even Pagemaker is a vast improvement over Publisher.

Dreamweaver Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I gotta say the GIMP... For some "smart" reason I decided to set it as the default image/photo program. If I'm lucky, I'm able to get it to run, after 5 minutes of loading stuff. If I'm unlucky, the whole thing freezes up. CTRL+ALT+DEL, how I love you.

(I can't remember anything about Windows.)
Proud2BCatholic139 Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Stupid computer programs my sister downloads.
