Anyone have ADD? I mean the real thing, not that you can't just focus. I do and I have this beaver dam paper due tomorrow that my graduation hinges on and I keep getting distracted!!! AHHHHH!!!!

you can do it matt!! i dont have ADD but i'm always a bouncing ball of energy (well, most of the time teehee)

God bless you in your work! Graduation is such a big hurdle to cross but you can do it! just think of how better you would feel to have it finailly done.

LOL thanks for the encouragement! It was nice to hear that! I'll feel soooo good when this is done, it's just sooo boring, I have to do a financial analysis memo about k-mart. Why it failed and what it has to do in order to survive! Did I mention my prof is eeevil?

good luck matt, i know how u feel i have like a stack of homework to do due friday, it would normally take me a full week to do it but im only gonna do it in like 4 days.ughhhhhhh Iam so easily distracted..im on the computer when i should be working lol!!!!!!!! u can do it! kudos to procrastinators.=spelled wrong

you know now that i think about this--the reason why Kmart went out of business in my town was because they opened right smack next door to Wal-Mart so yeah, i dont know who the genius was for that one

i'm a senior too in college, your lucky your in the last semester! make it for those who are right behind you! I still have a long way to go since I'm staying to minor and stuff. and it works out great since i think i missed the graduation deadline anyways

Yeah, there's no way they can compete especially since their inventory technology is way outdated. Also, as you can see with their choice of locations, their management needs some serious schooling!

a lot of my friends swear I have undiagnosed ADD

haha, I"ll never go to no stinkin doctor over it though, it's who I am so too bad. sometimes it can be bad tryin to fit into a school system or business environment, but I say good riddance to people who would keep my from enjoying my lack-of-attention lifestyle

What are the weaknesses of Walmart ? Its too big, the merchandise is definitely discount, and there are never cashiers or enough help.
Target succeeds and is succeeding where Walmart fails because it effectively contrasts its to Walmart - better merchandise, better customer relations and always enough cashiers.
Kmart needs to define itself it the same way Target has.

i don't think that as many people have a "disorder" as are diagnosed with it.

Reality might be that some people just have short attention spans. In our world, things are programmed (tv shows especially. They break for commercials on average every 8 mins) to keep us busy. The natural result is that people don't pay attention. I think if you switched things around and started some manual labor, after a while you would have attention down pat.
