Personally I'm a big fan of Michael Jackson, his music, and the person. No I do not believe in the child molestation. The man was proven INNOCENT because he always was INNOCENT. I just want to know what this board generally thinks of Michael Jackson.

Music = DOPE
The man = Too weird for me...

Personally I don't care.

My opinion; he's made himself to be a modern day monster and fully deserves to be shunned out of society.

Can't say that I disagree here...

Previous Michael = dope
Current Michael = lame
Future Michael = probably lame too

We need a Catholic version of an old school MJ. inDEED?

Posted

I feel bad for his children.

Posted

i second the nomination for inDEED

mj cannot be ridiculed for the way he danced, only the way he grabbed his doober way too much (or at all for that matter).

otherwise, dancing - incredible

music was hit and miss . . . at anytime there was about a 30% chance of hitting a jackpot

man that song "i want you back" by Jackson 5 is my joint right there :dancer2:

umm correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he move to the middle east and say that he will never live in America again??

You're not wrong, and good riddance!

Everything about Michael Jackson disgusts me - his effeminate persona, his revolting self-imposed mutilation into a grotesque characture of a white woman, his "fathering" test-tube children, his self-pitying whining and portraying himself as an innocent victim of others.
And I have no doubt whatever he's a child-molester - his behavior fits the classic pattern for child-molesters.

C'mon, it doesn't take a genius to figure out he's one seriously screwed-up individual. The only thing freakier than Michael Jackson are his fanatical fans who continue to adore him.

His personality doesn't really matter to me.

Music is okay... but it got so over-played when it was released, I eventually found it annoying. And the videos! Agh... nonstop MJ. You know, back when MTV actually played videos. :P:

Sick and not in a good way, but in a way that makes me weep.

I have to respond to this:

hey look you are entitled to your opinion and me to mine. My perception of MJ was formed by the man and his music. It sounds like yours was based by tabloid and sensationalistic news outlets. Maybe one day you will do yourself a favour and look beyond the fast-food infotainment representation that you have been fed. Anyway peace Brother, I hope the monsters that you see everywhere are not the transpositioning of your own fears and demons!

that song "Heal the World, Make It A Better Place" REALLY gives me the heebie-jeebies

Let me just say that Eminem does a pretty nice impression of Michael Jackson in his music video 'Just Lose It'. It's pretty funny, and I'm not an Eminem fan or anything, that song is just really funny and the music video is even better.

Anyway back to the topic, I don't care for Michael Jackson....His personality or his music. But that's just my opinion. And I agree with Socrates, he does fit the child molester mold. But that's just me.

I know some people who use the word 'sick' as a sort of compliment. When something is 'sick' it's awesome. If you ask me that's stupid, but oh well.

This is a reply to a "warning" I got from Dust:
Personal attack on phorum member: "The only thing freakier than Michael Jackson are his fanatical fans who continue to adore him."
This is nonsense! This is not a "personal attack" on any forum member. I was referring to the sorts of people I've read about who fly in from Europe to protest at MJ's trial, and speak of him with a near-religious reverence. Those people are truly deranged and wacky, and I think most reasonable people would agree. I could never figure them out.

This is a totally bogus and BS charge. It is the equivalent of someone getting charged with "personal attack" by making third-person remarks about, say, "fanatical Republicans who continue to adore George Bush."

Unless people consider themselves "fanatical fans" who "adore" Michael Jackson, they should have no reason to be offended by my remark.

Have Michael Jackson and his obsessive fans become sacred figures in Phatmass, beyond all criticism?

Then Phatmass truly has bizarre priorities!
