This is nonsense!  This is not a "personal attack" on any forum member.  I was referring to the sorts of people I've read about who fly in from Europe to protest at MJ's trial, and speak of him with a near-religious reverence.  Those people are truly deranged and wacky, and I think most reasonable people would agree.  I could never figure them out.

Um, when the person who posed the question identifies herself as a fan, your response where you attack fans is... get this... personal.

Sometimes I wonder if you realize what you say.

The key word was "fanatical." Not every fan is a fanatic.

It was not a personal attack. Trust me. This is a remark I usually make when talking about MJ and his trial. Those protester people really wierded me out!

And people denounce "conservatives" and "Republicans" and "liberals" and "Democrats" all the time on these boards, yet these are not normally punished as "personal attacks," despite the fact that people here identify themselves as such on these boards!

And why does someone ask what people think about MJ, then get upset if people don't think warm, fuzzy thoughts about him!

If you don't want people's honest opinons, don't ask!

Gosh!!!!

thank you, you said it all. For your information I did fly to California to support Michael during the trial, I live in Arlington, Texas though so it was only as far as half the country. I supported Michael because the MEDIA is portraying him something he isn't, just like you are portraying him something he isn't in your post. Maybe you should look at the real facts of Michael Jackson, rather then getting brainwashed by the media.

btw, did you know that Michael Jackson is in the guiness book of world records for contributing the most money to charities? you call that disgusting?

I remember Michael as a cute little black boy with an amazing voice, and try to forget what he has turned into. He needs prayers and pity.

MICHAEL JACKSON LYRICS

"Childhood"

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for the world that I come from
'Cause I've been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart...
No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...
'Cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me...

People say I'm not okay
'Cause I love such elementary things...
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood
I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates in adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me,
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my Childhood?

People say I'm strange that way
'Cause I love such elementary things,
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like fantastical stories to share
The dreams I would dare, watch me fly...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me.
The painful youth I've had

Have you seen my Childhood...

Green Light Turns Red, Statement From Raymone K Bain
Jackson Publicist Responds to Latest Rumors of Drug and Alcohol Abuse

The past couple of weeks have been marred with stories about Michael Jackson being investigated for trafficking drugs to his current mainstay in Bahrain, and also been alleged that Jackson was once again hooked on prescription drugs. Despite denials of an investigation by Santa Barbara authorities and denials from the Jackson camp regarding drug addiction, the stories seemed to grow even more elaborate and festered on.

It all came to a head Friday when the "National Enquirer" published that Jackson had overdosed on Demerol and alcohol, and that the singer is currently in critical condition in Bahrain. This latest report prompted Jackson publicist and personal spokesperson, Raymone K. Bain, to fire off a statement that served to debunk the story and also warn those responsible for relaying and disseminating the erroneous information:

"Michael Jackson has been working with several artists recording his Katrina Relief song, and with me all week, including today. He is doing fine. I have never seen him happier or healthier.

"Whomever these individuals are who are intent on disseminating false information throughout the media regarding Mr. Jackson, should begin hiring good attorneys. Likewise, the few irresponsible journalists who continuously rely on these 'sources,' and report this false information.

"Mr. Jackson's tolerance level has come to an end. The Green light that people have thought they have had to willfully impugn Michael Jackson's character and integrity has now become Red."

I share cmom's sentiments. I loved the way Michael Jackson was the past -- for me in the 80s. He was so adorable then. I loved his music, and nobody could ever dance like him.

But he has no concept of reality now, no concept of when to give plastic surgery a rest, and thinks he can spend money and be a childlike Peter Pan forever. He needs serious psychological help, and prayers, really.

I really couldn't follow the child molestation trials. Too much "eww" factor for me to bother reading testimonies, true or not. That whole trial was like some dirty voyeuristic thing you're not supposed to see, or like peeking into a tupperware dish of old food and being so grossed out you have to shut it right away.

What makes my blood boil though, is how he stabbed Paul McCartney in the back.

Not to try and psychoanalyze, but this confession doesn't help his image as a child molestor. When you look at homosexuals, for example, the root of their disorder is very often a search for the father figure they never had. The authentic bond between a son and a father is distorted into a sexual bond between son and stranger. Michael Jackson may be seeking his lost childhood in the sexual innocence of other children.

I don't know if that's the case. He was found not guilty once of child molestation, and settled out of court for previous allegations. But his behavior (eg, proudly sleeping with children) is bizarre and would make anyone step back and say, "Something is seriously wrong at Neverland".

Micheal Jackson has become a VERY bizarre man, I believe he could probably be a pretty decent artist if he wasn't so, well, bizarre! I'm not really talking about the way he sings or talks, but about his sleeping in bed with children, openly stating he slept with children, trying to make fondling himself a dance move, and his bizarre way of making everything seem so dramatic. He showed up to court in his pajamas?!!!! The man built his own amusement park in his front lawn but he couldnt just put a suit on en-route to the courthouse( especially since it took him like 45 minutes to get there)??????????? Bizzare,Bizarre,Bizarre.

While watching some stuff about the Jackson trial on TV last year with a buddy, there was some footage of the Neverland Ranch, and Metallica's "Enter Sandman" popped into my head - "Off to Never-Never Land!"

I got the idea of making an alternative video for "Sandman" featuring images of Michael Jackson and Neverland Ranch.
Many of the lyrics scarily fit and take on chilling new meaning.

"Sleep with one eye open, gripping your pillow tight!"

"Hush little baby, don't say a word . . ."

Yes, this is true--he lives in Bahrain. I also read an article on foxnews.com recently where Jackson himself stated that he was in the process of converting to Islam because (and this is paraphrasing but pretty close to what he said) it was the closest thing that was compatible with his personal beliefs.

Here's a link to something similar:
