uhh you know if you get accepted you don't HAVE to go, right?

Posted

right, they can accept you, but you can always say "nevermind"

yep, people do it all the time. I mean, Topanga rejected Yale!!!

LOL yeah, thats true, but it means I'm misleading my parents.....

Posted

eh... not intentionally though. it's leaving your options open, there's nothing wrong with just seeing if you'll get accepted. perhaps God's will against you going to university would manifest itself in your rejection, or perhaps God's will is actually that you go and it'll manifest in a full scholarship or something... who knows...

Yeah, I did get a scholarship, for a quarter of my first years tuition.

I hear you dear! I've applied and have been accepted with most of my tuition paid for four years. :ohno: And I think we're having doubts about university for the same reason. ;) Prayers for you, and please pray for me!

Me too! I have a partial scholarship as well, but tuition is STILL $16,000 after that's used up

I don't know if I want to go to school or not, or what I should do.

I'll already have a degree...

prayers! college can be very confusing--but just sending off letters doesn't mean you have to go to them. in fact, one should always do that just to be on the safe side, and you really got nohing to lose.

the thing is the time of about four years, and that can be a long time ;) especially when you know where you want to be ^_^

Exactly. And what use is a degree in English and Medieval history in a monastery?!? Especially a cloistered contemplative one. If I was to get a degree, I should be getting one in plumbing or something practical lol!!!!

Oh well, I'll just keep praying.
