Now there's a thought.

socialism is evil, pure and simple, according to Catholic Teaching.

even partial socialism mixed with capitalism is, in my humble opinion, absolutely evil.

industrial capitalism is also a plague on mankind.

but I suppose there are socialists who would like to do something similar... and make it into some sort of voluntary commune ( a voluntary commune is not necessarily evil, especially insomuch as such a thing would resemble monasticism; socialism is evil when it becomes government sanctioned theft of property)

but let's make one thing clear: I am the staunchest opponent to socialism that you'd ever meet and this is certainly not a voluntary commune, it is a neighborhood full of private property owners who do not voluntarily nor are the cumpulsed to share all their possessions.
