"Tradidi vobis quod et accepti."
"I have handed on to you what I have received."
- Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre

15 long years without your presence; your preaching...

O God, who wast pleased to raise Thy servant Marcel to the dignity of the fullness of the priesthood, vouchsafe to number him with Thy bishops and priests for evermore. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen.

Eternal Rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Don't worry Dave... in a few weeks all will be clarified.

He's mine too. Saint Marcel Lefebvre the Great is just one of mine.

People are calling JP2 the same thing. A few Opus Dei friends called Josemaria Escriva saint before his canonization.

Funny thing about John Paul II. He wasn't an excommunicated schismatic, unlike our dear friend Marcel Lefebvre.

But who knows, maybe St. Lefebvre and St. Luther are looking down on us as we speak.

Probably the same thing I will think when Martin Luther's "excommunication" is annulled/lifted.

Nice to see the Lord has handed his role as judge over to you. I guess we know someone in high places. Be merciful to me, O Lord Brendan.

Actually Brendan, because we cannot certifiably know what kind of state Luther was in at the time of death, we cannot say that he is in Hell.

Era- I'm serious. When the excommunications are lifted by Pope Benedict, what will you do?

I'm serious too. The same thing I'll do when a Pope lifts the excommunication of Martin Luther.

Extra ecclesiam nulla salus

If you read the life of St. John Bosco you will see that Don Bosco was able to have Martin Luther raised from Hell to testify to some Lutherans who were intent on his murder.
