popestpiusx Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 I warned that it was for entertainment purposes only. One must never take anything that comes from the LA Archdiocese seriously. I am also curious about the glasses. I suppose they could be shot glasses, or maybe tea candles?

I got creeped out by Signs, I did not like it... The pictures saddens and disgusts at the same time. But then again, it could be much worse.

[/color][/quote] Of course everyone knows about Mahoney. And it is quite right to pick on him and his archdiocese. It is called righteous anger. jgirl Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 LA is far from being the only wacky diocese. I've never been to a good Mass in the diocese of Joliet. I'm sure there are other places that are similar, too. Even in my archdiocese, wacky stuff goes on. Last Sunday we didn't hear the Gospel proclaimed to us, instead it was a group of high teenagers "presenting" it silently to a classical music soundtrack. This is in St. Louis at a Church not too far from the Cathedral.

That fiasco is grounds for excommunication. Thats blasphemous. And I thought Maine was in trouble in certain areas. Not even close. LA needs prayers.
