I think that this thread was started with concern in regards to the vocation DVD Sr. Mary Michael was speaking of. However, I may be wrong. :)

True, but the entertainment that you and Nicole provide is much more interesting. Don't you agree, Nicole. Don't you think that Lauren is wrong for thinking this?

You are such an excellent example of a "father" OLAM Dad!

Gosh I wish you were my dad!

God bless ya!

Wow, such a fine, fine example!

I think they argue just to see how we will react. They're probably having a grand ole time yucking it up on the phone watching everybody tell them to stop their cat fighting.

(At least that's the glass is half full version of the story that I'm sticking to)

I normally don't comment about it because I really enjoy seeing them go at each other. :cool!:

:lol_roll: HA HA DAD!!!! YOU ARE SO FUNNY!!!! THATS EXACTLY WHAT LAUREN AND I ARE TRYING TO DO!!! IT reminds me of me and my sister Amanda at the dinner table, calling eachother names and her comming up with the great come-backs and me jsut repeating what she has already said. Question dad, what day are you going to visit the Sisters?? jw

I've met a few Knights of Columbus here in MN, they are quite fascinating I must say, I dont think I could find the Church without them. :)

The Communities I remember from the DVD are:
-The Sisters of Life (shows a Sister making vows throughout the DVD, shows her commitment, what she's promising, what she's giving up, and what she's gaining)
-The Nashville Dominicans
-The Missionaries of Charity (it begins with one taking care of a leper. It says something like, "Why would this young woman give everything away to do something like this?" (not a direct quote at all)
-The Apostles of the Sacred Heart
-The Religious Sisters of Mercy in Alma, MI
-Some Cloistered Carmelites (sma says that it is the oldest Carmelite Order in the country)

*They apparently have also done DVD's on marriage and the priesthood (and brotherhood?). They are probably all great for use in the parish and for presentations.

Watched the DVD again today -- I missed these Communities:

-Carmelite Sister of Fort Tobacco (the one mentioned above)
-Sisters of Jesus our Hope
-Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne
-Little Sisters of the Poor

It really is excellent. Maybe EWTN will air it someday......
