HisChild Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 I wanted to thank all of you for your support here on Phatmass, as my life has taken an unexpected turn. I have been praying for all of you and ask for your prayers as I leave early tomorrow morning and head to spend some time with some wonderful sisters, on a retreat of sorts, regrouping, and discerning just what our Lord is asking of me. God bless you all! And I will talk to you soon. Yours in Christ, Denise
uruviel Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 oh Denise you have been such a blessing to me, to us all. May God Bless you and lead you to His holy will, you know our prayers for you never cease, God Bless you and keep you safe!!! With Love in Christ, uruviel
magnificat Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 You definately have my prayers Denise! May God grant you many graces during this time!
shortnun Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Denise, may you always feel yourself in the arms of His warm embrace.
uruviel Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 you may have already mentioned this, but where are you going? Which retreat?
HisChild Posted June 1, 2006 Author Posted June 1, 2006 It's only a retreat in my mind. I am not going to be there with other retreatants, just going to regroup, gain some balance, spend some time in front of our Lord, going to daily Mass, etc. As for the location. . . I'll let you all know later. you know, in case the press find out
uruviel Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 ohh ok, I think that's a great idea! May Jesus hold you ever close to His sacred heart, and show you the path clearer. God Love you!
Piccoli Fiori JMJ Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I hope you find this retreat to be very fruitful and that He may grace you with abundant blessings (especially that you may come to know His Will for you!)!
Guest phatdaddy Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Denise, Everyone has said it all, and so well. Prayers for you and may the good God bless you, may He shed His light on you and give you peace. Mr. Ray
srmarymichael Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 God bless you, Denise! You know that we're supporting you with our prayers!
stlmom Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Dear Denise, Remember that the Lord suffers with you as you go through this bewilderment and disappointment. Something good will come of this whole experience. My prayers go to your health and well being and for good advice toward the fulfillment of your vocation.
uruviel Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 that is so ever true stlmom, God does not let suffering go unoticed, he is saving souls with the merit you gain, as long as you keep offering it to Him he will keep giving it to souls. God never gets bad from something, everything made from Him has a good point, and good will come from it. God Bless you.
HisChild Posted June 5, 2006 Author Posted June 5, 2006 Lori, I've seen your posts on a couple of posts I rambled on. Thank you for your prayers and your support. The 'retreat' is what I am calling it. It's actually a stay of indeterminate time with a group of sisters. I'm regaining some balance and hoping to find some inner peace. I'm praying, and my guest room is across the hall from the chapel, so I am able to receive our Lord daily, as well as praying with the sisters. I'm also able to have some 'therapy' if you will.. . I'm cooking with the sisters! I love to cook and tomorrow I'm making Chinese. Thank you again for your prayers. . .I'm praying for enlightenment. . not to sound like a bad Shirley Maclaine novel/movie, etc. But I am praying for clarity. I'm also keeping all you wonderful PMers in my prayers. Y'all make me smile! God bless you. . .your wandering sister in Christ, Denise
uruviel Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 I knew your retreat was a time of enlightenment that you were just taking 'time off' but I didn't know you were spending it with sisters! Which ones? Anyways, I bet thats nice, to have quite, good prayer time with our Lord just near Him everyday too I offered prayers for you today @ pentacost, I hope you had a blessed Sunday! Chinese! sounds good, are you cooking for all the sisters? God Bless you. In Christ, Lori
HisChild Posted June 5, 2006 Author Posted June 5, 2006 Yes, I am... . cooking for 16! Thanks for the prayers. . .I'm praying for you too!
