Mercy me
I agree with you XIX. I didn't think about hooking into a good young adult group or bible study. There are some great conferences for young adults given at the Franciscan University at Steubenville. Prayers for you.
thessalonian
I do not think that one should be criticized by fellow Catholics (Sam) for admonishing the sinner. We are all sinners and need some of that of course. The act of getting married outside the Church by a CATHOLIC (which here fiance is, though she is not) is wrong and will have negative consequences for both of them. I do not know that longing can be held accountable or admonished for this though. That is the problem I see in this thread. But I also do not think she should be encourage to go through with a non-church approved marriage with a CATHOLIC. I do however hope that through all of this the Lord will be patient with this couple and that even if they do get married outside the Church that he will use Longing to bring her fiance back in to the grace of the Church as the Lord once did for me. I think there is much hope for this. I've been through the path that longing's fiance is going through. Blessings
