Yeah, I didn't think to post that link before... for those that weren't aware Regina is the author of, among other books, Angel in the Waters. If you've read it I am sure you can understand how precious life (especially children) is to her, and the joy of motherhood, and even more how the loss of Josh is breaking her heart.

I just wanted to thank you all again for all your prayers for the family. We all appreciate it so very much. I also wanted to share a link to a news story about Joshua. It has parts of what Regina, his mother, said at his wake. I thought that perhaps those of you who have prayed for us might appreciate reading a little more about them, to get a glimpse of just how your prayers are helping them through this tragedy. (There are also a few blogs out there with entries about the family, but they are mainly just prayer requests, nothing as poignant [sp?] as the news article.)

I just saw this (I was on Vacation when it was originally posted). Many prayers for you and your family.

All Merciful God has taken Joshua into His arms. He is safe and happy and in the company of so many who will, eternally, care for him and love him. I hope that the family knows that and I will pray for them and their loving child. Remember always the comfort found in the Gospel: I Peter 5:6-7.

This may be a little selfish of me to bump this again, but I want to beg a few more prayers for tomorrow, July 26th. I know it will be an especially difficult day for Andrew and Regina. It would have been Joshua's 5th birthday.
