MissScripture Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006
Originally yes, but then one of the two died and the body was simply fused together. So it's weird, but the soul has died, but their body will only die when their twin dies. And when the resurection happens, they should probably get two separate bodies. the bigger question is this: The separation of a single developing embryo into two identical twins doesn't happen until like day 3 or 4 or something, so what then? Was it two people from the begining in one embryo? Or was it one, and when it split, God sorta added a second? or does ensoulment not happen until after that?
Kind of adding to that question, a friend and I were talking about cloning and wondering, if someone were cloned, would they have a soul? How does that work?
Its hard for us to grasp, but you have to remember, God exists outside of time. For Him there were always 2 souls, it wasn't one first then the other. I am inclined to believe that there were two souls from the beginning because even if we didn't know they would split, God did.
