Jesus_lol Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 dang right!! recently i have really been getting into ronnie james dio (from elf, rainbow and briefly black sabbath)'s solo band called DIO. their songs are really epic, gritty and have a jumping fast rythym to them. that and dio's singing voice is nothing short of legendary. watch for some insane guitar sections as well.

[/quote] Dio's first album's cover is pretty strange though, it's supposedly a demon whipping a drowning priest with some chains. Didymus Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I saw them in open in August for Bullet For My Valentine at the house of blues. It was so loud in such a tight space that I had to look them up on the internet later to hear how the guitars actually sound. It was almost funny to see them switch back and forth on their REALLY fast sweep picking solos, but not really hear a note at all. I was like 10 feet from a 6' tall stack of speakers. Good times...
