I agree with you there. Aren't we supposed to stick out from the world? Aren't our actions supposed to scream 'We're not of this world' and 'I'm a Christian, filled with the love and grace of God'? Maybe they are Christians, but I wouldn't know it from looking at them or their lifestyle.

Not only are they doing the Newlyweds show, but they've been signed to do a variety show, kinda like Sonny and Cher. Sounds like it was merely a business move.

PatrickRitaMichael Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 Jessica Simpson was on the cover of Rolling Stones a few months back wearing a tank top and panties pushing a vacuum -- she was supposed to be this 'super-wife' but it reminded me of the recent Britney Spears cover. I don't have a problem w/ their money, that she may/may not be dumb (i haven't seen the show but I did hear about the chicken of the sea incident lol), her secular label and the fact that she and her husband talk about sex. Those things don't bother me. But I DO have a problem when people say they're Christians and then pose for magazine covers half-naked. For those girls out there who like Jessica b/c she's a good, Christian role model, I think that this cover is not a good example.
