Ash Wednesday
Okay, I know that's kind of a random question. Maybe it's the cold medicine but for some reason I am tired and have insomnia at the same time. I was dozing off and I thought of something I hadn't thought of in years -- the Barbie dolls I used to have. And if there are any GUYS who had a barbie...let's not go there. I actually didn't have many. Only three that I can recall: Crystal Barbie (I have to laugh at how 80s Dynasty she looks) Malibu Barbie Western Barbie ...and her horse, Dallas! (Not the little one, Dixie) .....Dallas was the BOMB! Edited February 20, 2007 by Ash Wednesday

CrossCuT
I really had NO barbies when I was growing up. We had ones from when my older sister played with them...but I never liked them much. I like to cut their hair, hang them, throw them etc. I really like stuffed animals when I was little. And playing saga, dinosaurs, and dress up with my friend John.
homeschoolmom
This is the one and only genuine Barbie (tm) I had growing up. I got it for my 10th birthday. Superstar Barbie... onathing1
I had quite a few, alot of them were Disney princesses though. Most of my barbies didn't last long though cuz my brothers and my uncle, who is 5 years older than I am, would take them and hang them up by a string and hit them with a bat. Or burn them. Haha, boy was I mad at them.
homeschoolmom
When HSdaughter was a toddler, Target was giving away posters of Barbies (one representing each year from 1959 to 1997). I cut them all out and laminated them and she used them as paper dolls. I was really surprised by how many I recognized! My neighbor had a million Barbies. Sojourner
I wasn't allowed to have Barbies but one of the girls in my neighborhood when I was in elementary school had several and we'd play with them from time to time. I don't remember which ones, though.
onathing1
Yeah my neighbor had just about every Barbie known to man. My dad didn't like them, but I still managed to get a decent amount for a little girl. It's quite sad though because I was in the Toy r Us in New York City *which is HUGE and amazing* and I had to go look at the Barbies, I just had to. But I was very upset to see a Barbie who was wearing see through clothes and was called something like 'gangster Barbie' or something along those lines. SJRod55
I did not have a Barbie - I had GI Joe or at least the British Version - Action Man and he beat up my neighbours Barbies and 'Ken' all the time!

MissScripture
My parents weren't going to buy me any Barbies (and come to think of it, I don't know that they did) but I got one for my Birthday once, and after that I got a ton of Barbie stuff, like all my cousin's old Barbie stuff. And my sister had Barbies, too. We'd play together, but I'd get bored and start killing off the Barbies I was playing. She never liked that much. We also had my mom's Barbies from when she was growing up. She had a ton, because her cousin had a TON and she died when she was 14, so they gave all the Barbie stuff to my mom.
