I think it is totally awesome that Nuns are able to actively participate in this. I admire what you all do so much and was once helped by a convent of nuns in mexico. Nuns are indeed sent by God to our world.

I'm sorry to hear that you do not have the Traditional Tridentine Mass, the Mass which has been used for centuries. I view it as more reverent, spiritual, and praising to God. The Tridentine is the one Mass I hope to offer as a priest.

Do you at least get to enjoy a Novus Ordo said in Latin?
You may not be aware of this, but not everyone prefers the NO in Latin.
The Council of Trent summed up well the Church's mind on Latin being the Language of Roman rite in the following words " If anyone says that the Mass should be celebrated in the vernacular only, let him be Anathema . " - Council of Trent (Session XXII, Canon 9)

Therefore, we must still keep Latin, Greek, Hebrew, etc. in the Holy Mass.

I didn't say that. You said that you hoped that she "got to enjoy" the NO in Latin. I said that not everyone prefers (ie enjoys) the entire mass in Latin. Myself, I prefer a mix. Some Latin, some English.

May God grant you His Holy Spirit in your discernment. I will keep you in my prayers! :D:

There have been Masses where the Sanctus is said in Latin and such, but as for the entire Mass being in Latin, we do not have that.

And I do not regard it as being a matter of "at least". The Mass, regardless of the language it is in, is still the Mystery of God's Love.

Good point, Sister. I attend Masses where we chant some Latin (Agnus Dei and sometimes Sanctus). And, yes...regardless of the language...the beauty and Mystery of God's love is there.

God bless.
