Cookie dough in ice cream is safe. Pre-packaged stuff is probably pasteurized, so I could handle that. Otherwise, you might as well lick the bottom of a chicken coupe.

Our family's favourite cookies are oatmeal and anything else cookies.
Start with margarine, brown sugar and egg,
Add flour, cinnamon and baking powder
Add other spices now, if you want them
Add lots of rolled oats and anything else (coconut, nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, dates, dried apricots, whatever)

At this point I can make it without a recipe
