Yet this topic is not about liturgical abuses. I can also use bold lettering..... ok... I was just bored and wanted to use some.
Sorry I did not see this, after this I will drop the issue unless someone counters my statements. If Apotheoun, brought up the alleged affair as a form of disrespect you are right to be offend, but if he did not then he was only stating facts. And I am sad to say if true that affair is also an abuse of holy vows. Priest are looked up too, they are held in the eyes of God, and of the Church at a higher level than lay persons. If sin is not countered by the light of truth then one bad apple can rotten the rest. The only way to bring sin to the light of truth is bring it out of the darkness. Meaning it must be countered by words and deeds, with respect. We all know that if one sheep falls off a cliff all the others will follow until someone stops them. Must have been a man who took this particular picture -- no women are allowed behind the iconostasis! OOO! Blue vestments!!!!!!! I have to admit... the eastern vestments and the fiddlebacks are much better looking than polyester chasubles with felt on them, but there have been a few chasubles that I have seen that are glorious... I guess I just have a thing for gold embroidery.... ok MAYBE I am getting into this document thing... finally..... lol Edited July 8, 2007 by philosobrat

Now I know you meant it only as a joke, but it was it poor taste, it is a kind of mockery... which I know you didnt think of, yet you would be offended if he made such comments about you, would you not?
