Is America A Great Country?

I love my country and will do whatever it takes to defend it should I be required to (due to physical disability this is unlikely). But I very highly disagree with much of the fundamental principles that were employed in it's formation. I love the country but I don't think that it is "great" by any stretch of the imagination. Probably a far better place to live than other places (though I would love to travel and spend time in other countries), but as far as its essential moral structure, I think there is a lot to improve upon.

America was great, and can be great, and parts still are, but as long as the Untied States allows the murder of millions, and tries to throw God away how can it be great?
