Rebirth flame Posted February 19, 2004 Posted February 19, 2004 "as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" Proverbs 27:17 I love that passage!!! We're all here to help each other grow closer to God!!! it's so true!!! Sweet stuff... ^_^
Iacobus Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I just finished mixing the two drafts. I stole VeraMaria's icon (sorry) I wanted to have something Marian. I added an image of Christ and a "sunburst" around His image. I took Al's text logo and lined up at an angle with the triangle Al had next to the picture of the St on Al's flag. I placed my draft in the lower left. I did a fill on the background light (on Christ) to dark (boraders) to draw the viewers line of sight. Tell me what you think I should add or remove or change.

Aloysius Posted February 20, 2004 Author Posted February 20, 2004 haha, back on topic. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. and do thou, oh prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about this world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. devil kicks me over, about to jab a knife into my heart, when all of the sudden St. Michael swoops overhead and slices the devils head off. the devil runs away in retreat headless, and i pray and pray with thanksgiving and joy. :D
