I didn't even know we could ignore people, or how that would work. Wouldn't that kind of mess with your mind reading a thread and only seeing half the responses. It might look like someone was talking to themselves. If you ignore someone, does that mean when someone quotes them, that's invisible too?

For those who have me on ignore, don't worry about not being able to answer my question.
What's your problem? I didn't close the thread, so I obviously don't think it's that horrible.... But I do think that there has been a lot of snarky, negative, rude behavior on here of late and wondered if this thread was just more of the same. It does lend itself to being a thread where people get to point out which members they can't particularly stand to talk to. Just stating that it has powderkeg potential....

Sheesh... chillax.
Well, rest assured, HSM, I have no "problem" and I'm not looking to have a "snarky, negative" thread, just something for me to know who, if anybody, has me on ignore.

Again, I respect the opinion of those who don't like this thread, and would say that perhaps you should just not participate instead of trashing it.

Is it really that important to know?

If you don't care, why are you posting on this thread?

Doesn't it seem like people are just talking to talk? If you don't like/agree/see the point in this thread, there are thousands of other ones to post in. Meanwhile, the few of us who are interested in this will discuss.

Haha. Do you have the "ignore" button walking around with you at all times? Like the Staples one?

I think that it is good to see the responses regardless of whether you are ignored by someone because others can learn from your thread.
Ya, ignores are "quiet" for a reason.

:lol_pound:

So what if someone wants to have half of phatmass on ignore? If it helps him/her to be charitable, who are we to argue or make fun of them? :idontknow:

i have had various people on ignore off and on, but the bad thing about being a mod is usually you have to read posts you'd rather not.

Well, first, and most important, I vote this thread lame too.

Secondly, hot stuff once had all of phatmass on ignore. That was a fun thread ;)

Can I vote lame for my hubby too, or does he have to log in to do that? That would bring the lame count to 3....

I don't know Prose. My mom and dad used to race each other to the polling station so they could cancel each others votes out. Maybe Chad wouldn't think it was lame. Of course he might have his ignore everyone on, and not know what we were talking about.
