CatherineM Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I didn't even know we could ignore people, or how that would work. Wouldn't that kind of mess with your mind reading a thread and only seeing half the responses. It might look like someone was talking to themselves. If you ignore someone, does that mean when someone quotes them, that's invisible too? For those who have me on ignore, don't worry about not being able to answer my question.
kujo Posted July 4, 2008 Author Posted July 4, 2008
What's your problem? I didn't close the thread, so I obviously don't think it's that horrible.... But I do think that there has been a lot of snarky, negative, rude behavior on here of late and wondered if this thread was just more of the same. It does lend itself to being a thread where people get to point out which members they can't particularly stand to talk to. Just stating that it has powderkeg potential.... Sheesh... chillax.
Well, rest assured, HSM, I have no "problem" and I'm not looking to have a "snarky, negative" thread, just something for me to know who, if anybody, has me on ignore. Again, I respect the opinion of those who don't like this thread, and would say that perhaps you should just not participate instead of trashing it.
CrossCuT Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Who cares who has you on their block list. Is it really that important to know?
kujo Posted July 4, 2008 Author Posted July 4, 2008
Who cares who has you on their block list. Is it really that important to know?
If you don't care, why are you posting on this thread? Doesn't it seem like people are just talking to talk? If you don't like/agree/see the point in this thread, there are thousands of other ones to post in. Meanwhile, the few of us who are interested in this will discuss.
kujo Posted July 4, 2008 Author Posted July 4, 2008
I've ignored some of my in-laws at times.
Haha. Do you have the "ignore" button walking around with you at all times? Like the Staples one?
Lounge Daddy Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008
I do not approve of this thread I think that it is good to see the responses regardless of whether you are ignored by someone because others can learn from your thread.
Ya, ignores are "quiet" for a reason.
Lounge Daddy Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008
Haha. Do you have the "ignore" button walking around with you at all times? Like the Staples one?
lol. Ya, it's like a state-of-mind thing.
XIX Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I'd reply to that, but I already have you on ignore. So I can't see your posts.
Deb Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008
wow.. you have THAT many warnings already?
I love you extra.
Lil Red Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 +J.M.J.+
wow.. you have THAT many warnings already?
So what if someone wants to have half of phatmass on ignore? If it helps him/her to be charitable, who are we to argue or make fun of them? i have had various people on ignore off and on, but the bad thing about being a mod is usually you have to read posts you'd rather not.
icelandic_iceskater Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008
I love everyone!

I love you extra.
I see you're trying to get your warning levels down. jkjk.
prose Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 Well, first, and most important, I vote this thread lame too. Secondly, hot stuff once had all of phatmass on ignore. That was a fun thread Can I vote lame for my hubby too, or does he have to log in to do that? That would bring the lame count to 3....
CatherineM Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I don't know Prose. My mom and dad used to race each other to the polling station so they could cancel each others votes out. Maybe Chad wouldn't think it was lame. Of course he might have his ignore everyone on, and not know what we were talking about.
