Palin is a great choice.

McCain sure had everyone hanging. Last night the rumor was that it was Romney.

But Palin will be interesting for the demographics - female, NRA lifetime member and avid hunter, staunchly pro life, fiscal conservative, domestic drilling...

Interesting that Obama chose the old hack Joe Biden, a Washington insider, and McCain chooses a fresh face for real change...
Exactly. When NObama picked Biden, I was like, "That's CHANGE???" HA! What a joke!!!

Yeah, my brother, who's an expert on politics, assured me that Joe Biden was a terrible choice and McCain was probably drooling over the ways he could respond to it. Looks like he made a good choice.

I belong to that demographic.
3 year+ in the senate...he didn't take office till 05...
But remember, from the time he became a Senator until he began his campaign for Pres, the Senate floor was only open 143 days. Thus, "Senator" Obama, has only 143 true days under his belt as Senator. Not 3 years.

Madame Vengier

Once again, this is NOT just about being pro-life. This woman is a superb candidate for lots of other reasons and we should be excited about every one of them, not just the pro-life angle.

Think big picture, people.

I may have to give McCain a second look now. Dislike him as much as I do, having Palin on the ticket holding at least some weight is a big plus.
