You compared Madame V to your mother, who has a "callous approach."

I was merely pointing out that I find it interesting that some members here are deliberately targeted, while others slip by under the radar.

After your boring antics over at the miniskirt debate, I have difficulty taking you seriously.

Well, you told me that the other poster you are referring to has only been posting for two days. I honestly can say that I have not read many of their posts and definitely have not formed an opinion on their posting style yet. It's easy to slip "under the radar" when one has only been here two days.

By "some members" who are deliberately targeted, do you mean one specific member or do you have a list? I am an equal opportunity targeter and don't believe that we should be discriminating against anyone.

Also, let me know of the "others" who slip by the radar.

Let's just get it all out into the open because that's the kind of phamily were are striving to be here.

Thy Geekdom Come

I'm not gonna lie...I'm incredibly excited right now. I just read an article that included the response from an Obama spokesman and all he could say was that she didn't have much experience...but she has more experience than Obama does!

Let's think about this...in no particular order...

1. She's a woman.
2. She's a mother of 5.
3. She's pro-life.
4. She loves her son with down-syndrome.
5. Her husband works for an oil company.
6. She wants to drill in Alaska, her own state.
7. She wants to find alternative fuels.
8. She's against gay marriage.
9. She's good-looking.
10. She's fiscally conservative.
11. She's been in charge of ethics reform and has a good ethics rating.
12. Her son is in the army in Iraq.
13. She's young.
14. She's a hockey mom.
15. She hunts moose.
16. She's an NRA member.

Anyone have anything else?

To be honest, I'm shocked there's such a good candidate out there...honestly, from the sounds of it, I don't think McCain could have picked anyone better...at all...

I mean, she'll appeal to women, conservatives, mothers who want their sons back from Iraq, soldiers, gun-rights folks, pro-lifers, hunters, athletes, typical working-class-wanting-their-kids-to-be-in-sports-and-accomplish-their-dreams moms, go-green folks, those who work for the rights of the disabled, and people concerned about rising fuel costs. From the sounds of it, this is a woman who actually knows the price of things in the supermarket, can relate to the average American, and understands what it means to serve.
