I'm still waiting for them to come out and speak at the rally in Ohio. I really want to hear her speak, I've heard great things about her.
I saw the speech, and I have to say I was disappointed. I definitely could have done without the references to Geraldine Ferraro, and Hillary, but I get that the McCain camp is trying to attract Hillary voters.

In either case I hope she becomes a big conservative voice in Washington. I'm not sure if McCain is going to give her any real power though. Most Presidents don't, and I question how much these two actually agree on the issues.
I completely disagree. There are a lot of issues, but given the enormity and the enormous-ness of abortion, every other issue (especially the war and the economy) is basically dwarfed by abortion.
I disagree.

You can't have cake without filling and icing. Well, you can, as it'll "nourish" you, but it's tasteless and unsatisfying.

I have no idea where you are going with that analogy... I don't see how cake is analogous to politics...

I could just as easily say that pizza is fine whether you have pepperoni to go with it or not.

I mean I care about the other issues, I just don't really vote on them. I have yet to see a circumstance in which a pro-life candidate would be preferrable to a pro-choice candidate.

No...I think this IS the right thread...It seems they squashed two threads together...or maybe I'm losing my mind.
