Lounge Daddy
Another day. Another 2,000 plus words.
Lounge Daddy
6128 words so far. So I did about another 1000 words this afternoon. Tonight I will head back over to my office (the coffee shop) and bang out another thousand. My plan is to have the entire novel, all 200,000 words or-so of it, wrapped by January. I'll be going through the revision in February and I'll be writing publishers throughout spring of 2009. Therefor, a few sample chapters will be available in six months. philothea
200,000 words!? I hope you are planning a convenient splitting point about halfway through there.... What kind of novel is it?

It's one part The Lone Gunmen, one part Ted Bell's Alex Hawke series, one part Harriet The Spy. Shaken, not stirred. Planning on doing anything else with it after NaNoWriMo, or are you thinking it might just be a good writing exercise?

It's a background story which connects two existing novels (both of which need revision whenever I figure out whatever happens in this Nano novel!) I'm not planning to try to get this particular one published, but I might give it away for free as bonus background material. I don't know if it'll wind up being much longer than 50k. Lounge Daddy
I'm getting as much writing in as I can during the day today. Tonight after the kiddies go to bed I might be too distracted following the election results rolling in.
Lounge Daddy
I packed it in and left the coffee shop at 8:30pm. Before I flipped to some news websites and turned on Glenn Beck's live election night webcast... I checked my word count: 10,
BG45
LD you're winning, mine is around 9k. Oh Missy and I have decided that Obama is doing NaNoWriMo. His speeches are novels in themselves.
MissyP89
8200. I want to keep going, but I'm at the end of the chapter, it's late, and I'm trying very hard to have a belated anniversary with BG. I'm ahead anyway.

Don't let a little anniversary get in the way.
