I came across the article while I was on the internet. I have never been a fan of Oprah (partly because I'm a guy ) but also I see her show as being extremely overrated and I think that she has become a near goddess. What segments I have seen when I am over at my Grandma's house and she is watching it, seem to be.....bland. Something like that. It's like, she has how many people following her for this? I am not trying to say she is "evil" or under serving of [b]all [/b]her fame, obviously she had to get people to like her in the first place, althoiugh I do think she has achieved a celebrity status that is almost too dangerous for her own good. It seems her show is a bit on the fluff side. I dunno. In the last few years her show has really gone downhill, especially since she got into all of that New Age "this will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!!!11" croutons. I do think some of her shows have interesting topics, but I think she gives advice that she's not necessarily qualified to give-I think her ego is a bit inflated. I also can't stand Dr. Phil because I think he's a crackpot. Dr. Oz is on my blacklist, because he's vice chair of surgery at Columbia University, which does some of the most awful animal experimentation out there (some of it personally done by him).
