Vatican Demands Holocaust Denier Recant

when they have people writing them letters about their bishops, yes, i believe that the Vatican can/could account for every bishop. and considering the ad limina visits every 2 years (or is it 5 years?) they certainly can account for every bishop.

The Vatican indeed must caccount for all the Bishops. THe Ad Limina is every 5 years, but I heard something about it changed recently, not quite sure what.

Good point, they definitely should be more proactive with prochoice bishops and such. I just mean that the issue with Williamson was sooo super publicized that they probably acted quicker. Do we know for sure that the Vatican hasn't warned/disciplined other bishops? Maybe you just wouldn't hear about it as much. I'm not saying this is the case I honestly don't know. -Katie

that's what i thought too. :unsure: aha, [url="http://www.catholicnews.com/data/stories/cns/0805794.htm"]here's[/url] an article saying that they aren't every 5 years anymore because of a backlog.
