Resurrexi
I am earnestly wondering who here uses the Nova Vulgata psalter. Most people who choose to say the Office in Latin will use the EF Office, which almost always uses the Gallican Psalter.

Resurrexi
Can you tell me what this is?
That Breviary website uses the Gallican Psalter arranged according to Pope St. Pius X's schema.
Does anybody subscribe to this breviary? I have heard it is good, would like opinions.
That website does not use the current EF Breviary. The current EF Office was promulgated by Bl. John XXIII is 1962. The differences between the Breviary which that website uses and the 1962 Breviary are relatively minor; however, those who have an obligation to pray the office daily (e.g. clerics) cannot use the version on that website. N.B., that website is run by sedevacantists. While that does not make the Breviary that the website provides bad, it does mean that you should beware any commentary or links on the website. zunshynn
Rex, since you seem to be the current resident expert on this subject, can you recommend a Carmelite breviary? I currently have the Little Office of the BVM (Baronius Press) which is in Latin and English, but I have no breviary of the larger office excepting the current NAB breviary, which translation I find abominable. I note that the Monastic Diurnal you linked to is wonderful but seems Benedictine in focus, which is why I wonder that there is a Carmelite equivalent. If not, that Diurnal looks pretty good. Thanks for all the info...the depths of your brain never cease to amaze me.
MARIE-THERESE! Look what I just found! All Latin though. They've been in the Library at Harvard since at least 1928, so they're pretty old editions... one of the letters at the beginning is dated 1885.
