But I've been listening to some of his famous songs now, and I think "Beat It" is my new favorite song. I had heard the "beat it" hook before, but I never knew the meaning of the song. I have watched all of Michael Jackson's interviews. I have heard ALL of Michael Jackson's songs. I know ALL the songs he wrote, I have heard the people that actually KNOW Michael personally talk about him. He was a great wonderful person. Maybe you should watch some interviews and hear some songs and get to know the real Michael Jackson before you listen to the harsh media and this harsh world. I know I never met Michael Jackson personally, but from what I have gathered and learned from him in the past 15 years of my life, I have learned that he is a child at heart. He would never harm a child if that is what you are thinking. He was proven innocent. I understand why the world is mourning over his death. Because millions of fans know him for who he is. Not for how the media portrays him. So get to know a person before you judge him okay? If you really want to know him just a little bit, listen to the song "Childhood". If you listened to him in his interviews he was innocent. The facts said otherwise. He was drunk. He got a slap on the wrist and is playing football again making lots of money while a baby and his mother were killed leaving another child without a mother and a husband without a wife. I know the media can be cruel. I know Michael Jackson did not really have a normal childhood. I also personally know a child molester who is in jail and has truly broken a family. I think I watched every news special and the memorial service. The memorial service was absolutely beautiful. It really focused on all the positive aspects of the man personally and professionally. I think the way the media has portrayed him over the years has been completely awful. We did not hear one positive thing about him until his death. One of my favorite quotes from the memorial service was Rev. Al Sharpton addressing the children "There was nothing strange about your daddy, it was strange what your daddy had to deal with."
