Pardon my ignorance, but...what's the EF?

Once every few months... most of the time by accident, when the Mass I normally go to just happens to be in the EF. Everyonce in a while there will be one advertised on campus and I will go out of my way to attend. But it's not offered all that often.

Extraordinary form of the Mass.

When I'm in town, I go with my family and they go a couple times a month or so although it varies.

You left out the "never" option.

I just now found out that the EF is offered Sunday afternoon at the cathedral.
I wish our deanery offered the EF. I asked about it after the release of the Summorum Pontificum, but never got an answer. Savannah is kind of far, I'm closer to Atlanta, so I suppose I could go to a F.S.S.P Mass there.

I the extraordinary form... I don't anticipate being able to go to one anytime soon though.

At OLAM we had it weekly, on average.

Sigh, it's been two years since I've been to the EF and that was when I visted the Benedictine Sisters of Mary Queen of Apostles for a week- one of the few traditional communities that is in union with Rome.

If the Mass starts with "Introibo ad altare Dei" rather than a greeting, it is the EF.
