CatherineM
Almost never would make me sound as if I would like to go, but don't have the opportunity. There are several EF masses here. I have no desire to attend.

Noel's angel
Never been. I wouldn't get excited if there was one near me either. Mass is Mass. God isn't going to judge me on how many times I attended Mass in the EF.
Lil Red
+J.M.J.+ i've been once. it was nice but i was just happy to go to a Mass where half of it wasn't ad-libbed.
Apotheoun
I have no real interest in attending the indult mass, but that is only because I am theologically and spiritually attached to the Byzantine liturgy.

There is no "indult" to use the 1962 Missal. Any priest of the Latin Church can celebrate the extraordinary form of the Mass with no special permission. Deeds
I've only been once. I'd love to go more, but getting to one is not very convenient for me.

Even if one does not follow along using a hand-missal, he can better see that the Church teaches that the substance of the bread is converted into the substance of Christ's body at the consecration and that the Mass is a sacrifice when Communion is distributed only on the tongue and when Mass is celebrated ad orientem. Anyone is free to say or chant the responses with the servers or choir. Even if one is not participating by singing or saying the responses, one can participate just as fully (or even more so) internally. The fact that the present pope is allowing the use of the older missal today does not mean that his successor will, and should the next pope rescind the permission, you -- as a member of the Roman patriarchate -- will have no recourse. If the EF were to be abrogated, I would become an Eastern Catholic as soon as possible. Edited July 14, 2009 by Resurrexi
