Maria Posted July 28, 2009 Share Posted July 28, 2009 The way the question was phrased made me think of Padre Pio asking a holy woman who was dying very painfully of stomach cancer to hold out a little longer. If God wants me to wait because He wants to use me still on earth, then the thing to do is wait. And if He's asking me if I'm willing to wait, He probably wants me to wait. If, on the other hand, He's asking me to go, then it's time to trust everything to Him, including that person I could probably bring to Him if I just had a little more time.
