I, too, was unaware that like was a preposition.

Could've avoided it completely by using the word "appeared". ;)

And I like the first image.

I like this one but believe this image is a close representation, only Alittle bit more darker skinned.
Just saw this one - I like it, too.

Piccoli Fiori JMJ

I've always thought that this was not the best representation of Christ:

I imagine a middle-eastern man with the facial features from the Shroud of Turin...
Something like this, but maybe a little less groomed eyebrows:

But I love thinking about Him as an infant or a child...

KnightofChrist

Somewhat off topic but related to the use of the word "like" in modern language.

That second one sure does look like how I imagine, but I actually like the imagery in that first one. Very apocalyptic. I like it.

I would have used the word appear (in the present tense) since Christ our God is alive today. :)

Prepositions seem to be the orphanage of the parts of speech world.
"Well, it ain't a noun, verb, or adjective...or even adverb or pronoun...def [sic] not a conjunction."
"Well what the heck is it then?"
"Who cares, throw it with the prepositions."
"But I thought those described position? You know, over, under, like that."

And that was the day Miroslaus got dismissed from the word categorisation committee.

I've seen this one one! It's at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.! I love this image.
I think he looks like a combination of Resurrexi's first image and Futurenun's second. And at one and the same time, like the Divine Mercy illustration in:
