princessgianna
Ok so I am considering trying tofu- though what do you do with it? I am not sure. Just trying to be adventures. PG Edited August 12, 2009 by princessgianna
Era Might
It needs hot sauce, just like anything else.
CatherineM
Cube it and fry it in a stir fry. It's pretty tasteless by itself.

princessgianna
Wouldn't that be worthless to even buy it then?

[/quote] that would be my advice. I know there are tofu lovers out there, but I have never liked it. The texture grosses me out, and if it's not prepared correctly it is horribly bland. Drew-Memphis
Never tried it but from what I've heard, it absorbs whatever flavors it is cooked in. My advice, throw in with a batch of hot fried chicken. Then lather in Hot Sauce.....
Sojourner
Or, just leave out the tofu and eat the chicken and hot sauce.
Mercy me
I like it in authentic Chinese dishes. Pork and tofu is my favorite. It really does need to be cooked with something that has strong flavor because it absorbs the flavor of whatever it is cooked with.

Drew-Memphis
Sounds to me like eating Tofu is a lot like eating a sponge. And I don't have much of a taste for the latter.
zunshynn
Don't.
InHisLove726
Throw it in the garbage where it belongs! Seriously though, it's very difficult to make tofu taste good. I was a vegetarian for 2 years and I could never stomach the flavor of it.
