missionseeker Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Some of my friends decided to go swimming tomight. In north GA, where it is flooding. They can find all but one. THe guys say he's dead. They are lookiing for his body. They are/were all good friends.

I think drowning accidents are the worst, because its so hard to not KNOW where they are... if they might be alive. You and your friends and their families will all be in my prayers. Just to clarify... 4 of your friends were found and are okay... and they are looking for one that they think might be dead? Or they know four have died and one was missing. Sorry... Every year someone would go missing trying to raft down it when the water was 20 feet deep. When we are young, it is so hard to respect the power of nature because we feel invulnerable. I'll pray for his friends and family to get through this.

His mother is actually a member of parliament. Some of you may have heard of her. I think her name is Cathy Sinnott. I don't think I will be able to go to voice lessons tomorrow...

missionseeker Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 I am very shocked. But I was actually the one who got the call that they had all been found but Kevin. And I had to realy that to Mary (his sister). And that was the worst. I am going to bed. But idk if I will sleep.
