jeffpugh Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 I gave her more incentive than a dollar. American or Canadian.

Happy_Catholic Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Its kinda late. I'm still thinking about this thread. I found pictures: And Us weirdo kiwis say "chups". (We get stink from the Aussies because of it)
OnlySunshine Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 It sounds unnatural, but I'd probably try one. I put ketchup on french fries, so why not chips.
goldenchild17 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I don't think there's a chip flavor I would not try. Those pickle pringles can be a little much but even those are good on occasion. Haven't had ketchup ones, but don't see why not, though mustard would be better

Varg Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I saw Branston Pickle flavour crisps earlier. Just...No
Thy Geekdom Come Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Okay...so just for the sake of my own clarity: Yankees: Fries (rectangular prisms of potato-ey goodness) and Chips (thin crispy discs of potato-ey goodness) Brits: Chips and Crisps Aussies: Chips and Crisps? Kiwis: Chups and Crisps?
jeffpugh Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 That sounds about right. Canucks call fries "chips" too. Context clears it up.

laetitia crucis Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 NBC's "Today Show" just did a little segment on Poutine. Looked very tasty. Then they did a little cooking bit featuring: -- Classic Poutine; -- "Breakfast" Poutine with all the normal stuff, plus crumbled bacon (not Canadien bacon - haha!) and a sunny-side up egg; -- "Steak and Red Onions" Poutine; which Al Roker called "Philly Cheesesteak Poutine". The Canadien chef was a little offended by that... Where can I find this Poutine????? Is it ONLY in Canada?
