I hope to keep it up. You take German -right?

I have heard from several people Japanese is fun, is it hard to pick up, and do you ever get a chance to use it?

I get to use it in class. And I like teaching it to my siblings. My japanese teacher is really good and believe me it's all baby steps.

In fact, four of my ten courses are wide, wide open. I get two non commerce options, which if I choose, can certainly be Japanese, and then I get two "senior level" humanities, social science, or science courses. Since it's senior level, Japanese wouldn't count, unless I defer those to next year and was thinking about taking 300 level Japanese courses. Decisions decisions. Life is so much fun. Tridenteen Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 JMJ So this week, I want to finish my researcch thesis, book analysis on A Christmas Carol (this is my third time writing one in the duration of my life [img]http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/public/style_emoticons/default/lol_roll.gif[/img] ) and then I need to sumit a character sketch on Where the Red Fern Grows, and finally write a morality essay. WEEE! Then I am into third quarter, and the only assignment for that I need to submit is final copy of thesis! Then I just need to do Geography, and I am good to go. What's up for you guys this week?

They speak so fast, a word will appear to be 5 syllables and they will run it into two! I am so glad Americans NEVER do that!

I looked it up online, and the general consensus is that pronunciation is simple (not nearly as many phonemes as English, which I knew already) and sentence structure is not as complex as English, though different.
