Having proper control over one's gun is vital. Lack of control can lead to fatal injury. However, I am entirely opposed to any attempts by politicians (be they Democrat, Republican, or other) to subvert the Constitution by attempting to infringe the right of the people to keep and bear arms. [/quote] I consider self-defense to be a human right, and therefore a moral issue, and I consider firearms and other weapons to simply be tools to enforce that right. I think that to restrict those tools is to attack the right itself. I don't care what your constitution says; I don't live there. Edited for typo.
