But maybe your order is different. If you search the forum there was a thread about people were taking with them and there was a lot of discussion about the best type of bras. Oh well. Lisa about sewing your postulant outfit and aprons, do they give you a pattern or do you have to go buy one?
marigold Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Yeah see my dilemma is not do much colours but um... ok so for the first year I'm in civvies, so I figure it's a good idea to keep wearing what I normally would under my clothes. But then after novicing - you know what the veil looks like, right? It comes down to the elbows all the way around, almost like a poncho. So with all that layering I don't know if brassieres are going to be *visibly necessary* if you catch my drift. Maybe it's just what's more comfortable for working? Sorry Lisa, we didn't mean to hijack your entire thread! but also if you do have an apron pattern could I [s]steal[/s] see it?

[/quote] They sent an apron pattern and gave me pattern numbers to work from for the postulant outfit.
