How Can A Faithful Catholic Be A Democrat?

Religions make their own rules, yet in the end we All will have to answer to God-if you went today how many of you would truly be ready......ready to say that, yes you helped your fellow man at every oppurtunity, yes you did Not judge or condemn your fellow man, etc., So how can so many of you Claim to be a "Faithful Catholic"? [b] How religious is it to have politicians in your pockets, only if they[/b] [b]will vote your way on certain issues? How religious is it to pressure politics about contraceptives & abortion when "male" contraceptives (ie: condoms, Viagra, Cialis, Penis Enlargement Treatments) are never mentioned in these talks (when it is proven that birth control also helps an aray of health problems & the above 'male' items are basically available only to have sex)? AND, last but definitely Not least, How Religious is it for the CC to condemn & judge birth control or abortion when it Continually has hidden & moved around the Pedophile Clergy? Why are they Still in Service? That's an answer I would Love to hear from the Vatican itself, but they have So many Problems going for them right now, like Finances & Secrecy don't they?![/b]
[b] Will the "Faithful Catholics" step up & take in the Children born from women unable to care for them OR from women that were 'Raped' if abortion is outlawed? And will Any of you have Any Conscience at all about the women dying, either from suicide or botched back alley abortions if outlawed? Remember, just b/c you are 'catholic' & go to church does Not mean you won't be Judged as well & go to Heaven, just like going to a bakery does not make me a baker! (And I wasn't aware that penis-enlargement treatments were a form of contraceptive, much less that such "treatments" were typically covered by insurance plans at Catholic schools and such. But, you learn something new everyday.)

But I know a lot of Catholics that not only have a "twenty dollar Bible" (which I truly don't understand why spending $20.00 on a Bible is a Bad thing if you really don't have extra money for the, I guess, Really Good Ones?) , but they also don't have the 'capability' of reading the Bible in anything But English (unfortunately there are many of us who don't have the means and/or 'capability' to learn& they also have their own interpretations of the Bible, just like -(Protestants?curious choice)- most any one else. I have not met 1 Catholic, Protestant, Methodist, Baptist, etc. that has NEVER interpretated parts of the Bible on their own, there are also some that don't even Read the Bible, but just do as the Church says & think that's all they need to be a 'Good Faithful Catholic' and go to Heaven. You sound very pleasant, but also a little demeaning to others--"Bible Alone Christians"-what is that anyway? So if someone reads the Bible & doesn't go to Catholic Church any longer they are not True Christians? More than a little condensending I think. But Thank You for your Opinions, I respect that.

You seem to have missed an important part of the Bible. Look up the passage where the law expert asks Jesus how he may attain eternal life. Then ask yourself why you only addressed the first law and omitted the second. Luke 10:25. Christianity is not just about you, it is about us, one body of Christ!
