I like the habits of the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal too. Simple but pretty

Sister Servants of the Eternal Word are another favourite.
I think they've been mentioned before, but the Dominican-style habit + the Franciscan brown =
I love the SsEW habit!! They have a three knotted cord AND a fifteen decade Rosary  Here's a funny story about them. I for a while was very seriously discerning with a Dominican community and my friends would always tease me that my habit would never stay white because when I eat I almost always spill on myself. When I told a friend that I was discerning with the SsEW and that they wear brown scapulars and capes she made a comment along the lines of my not needing to worry about getting my habit dirty if I end up with them. When I was on retreat with them I was helping them clean because I was about seven hours early one of them almost bleached her scapular. I told my friend this and she said "oh no! You can't win! knowing you it will either have food on it if it's light or have bleach spots if it's not!"

I would have to say that the Children of Mary is my favorite! I love the purple and white, it's so beautiful! I also really like the Dominican habit and the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters habit. :)
JMJ+

I don't have a favorite, just a few that I really like. Franciscan Brothers Minor, Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Dominican Friars (With the cappa particularly, but even without the cappa), Carmelite Monks in Wyoming, and of course, the Knights of the Holy Eucharist.

Are those veils blue or is that my computer?

Posted

those veils are blue and red!!!!

They receive a 'choir veil' when they make their solemn professions... only worn in choir and on solemn occasions... blue on the outside, red on the inside!

No. She hadn't entered at that point. I saw her a few weeks ago though. She is doing very well. If I come across a pic of her I will be sure to post it!

The first picture are the Little Brothers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a community founded by Abbé Georges de Nantes (controversial priest, had difficulties with the Vatican).
The second one are the Children of Mary.
The third one are the Little Sisters of the Consolation of the Sacred Heart and the Holy Face.

They use the Sacred Heart as their symbol because they follow the spirituality of the blessed Charles de Foucauld. He had a white habit with a red Sacred Heart on it.
