Thank you! I'm really looking forward to it :)

I'll have a think about it, though I do have an idea of what I will say if asked :)

Yes. I am the kind that like to be prepared, especially when someone asks me to say the blessing.

Pham! I have just returned to my dorm after a week of fun. I've been spending most of my days with my host family.

Thanksgiving was very enjoyable. We went to my host father's sister's home for lunch, and there would have been around forty people there. I met many people, and it was a little overwhelming at times, but I enjoyed it a lot. I gave her a box of chocolates, which she appreciated. Before the meal she said a prayer and gave thanks for several things (including me! which was kind). The food we had was:

- Bread
- Mashed potatoes
- Sweet potatoes
- Onions
- Stuffing
- Brussels sprouts
- Smoked turkey
- Greek salad
- Coleslaw
- Onion, bean and mushroom casserole
- Raw veggies
- Crab salad

And for dessert - five kinds of pie: apple, chocolate pumpkin, pumpkin, raspberry and banana creme.

It was a great day. I really enjoyed being part of the tradition, and I got a strong sense of familial love and hospitality which was very warming...though I may not need to eat again for a long time :P

Hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had as wonderful a time as I did :)
