I see.  Well, although I'm not a fan of the group (I prefer my militia to be Immaculata :) ) I'm sure you'll find some interested people around here.

but i bet your ok with the government taking our rights away. people flock to this country running away from communist regimes, and now those poor people might have to get here to.

No.  I want people to have a lot more freedom then they currently have.  You're whole speil discredits itself when you talk about defending against the legalization of pornography and gay marriage.

I'm not on Facebook, but I give this  :like3: .

I think someone posted a while back some clerical document that indicated that it is fine for Catholics to own guns so long as they are for self-defense and are never used with intent to kill, but only to stop an aggressor. Which sounds perfectly logical to me.

ok honestly hasan, your over reacting, there is no way we would ever have the power to stop the things you love, even though we are against these things,we know there probably is no stopping it. But that's not the focus of our cause. so please, enough. thank you.

There is a less "OMGFREAKOUT" case for not making vices illegal, and Aquinas actually talks about it, including leaving prostitution legal.

Fact is, prohibition makes markets more violent. Prostitutes are arguably worse off in places where prostitution is illegal. Drugs become more dangerous, and drug dealing becomes more violent.

I'm overreacting by taking the content on your facebook page seriously?  I'm honestly confused.  If you post that you want to stop the legalization of 'x' then I don't see how you can pretend that it is somehow unfair when people actuallly believe that you want 'x' to be illegal.  And it seems to be a focus of your cause since an administrator of your facebook page posted it.

fabric of American society has become unwoven by the acceptance and teaching of relativism, and has obscured absolute truths that we can see by the natural order of empirical matter around us. We have had a vicious attack on truth the last fifty years with the permissive attitude of the Supreme Court and the abuse of power by the Supreme Court to make immoralities lawful i.e. abortion, pornography, euthanasia, homosexual marriage and various other perverse acts. Relativism has ushered in a host of evils in America of the like we have not seen since Hitler and Stalin.

LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL (WHO THINK LIKE US)!!!!!

Noel's angel

Perhaps that is a good idea.

Seriously, the rest of the world looks at the terrible tragedies caused by loons having guns in America, and we all sigh with despair.

I, for one, have a problem with a law based on the mutual fear of human beings towards one another.

Hasan has a point, I think. Are you advocating the criminalization of vices? Should we really imprison people for homosexual acts? How are we going to enforce that?

For most of Christendom, marriage has not involved State permission. I see no reason to involve the Federal government in marriage, and many reasons to keep them entirely out of it. I don't want the State involved, at all. I can write up my own legal contracts without getting permission from the political class.

You need to look past Hasan's tone and see the legitimate portions of his objection. None of which have to do with his unwavering, slavering statism.

you still dont get it. liberals. im deleting this.

I'm not a liberal.

Hasan discredits himself by being Hasan.

If only Hassan were still here.  He was so much superior to all of us in every way.

The Feds already have the right to regulate crops you grow on your own property for your own consumption.

You have GOT to be joking.

Uh, guys, this is a joke, right?

Guys?

No joke. It is illegal to grow marijuana in your backyard. It is madness.
