nikita92 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Wish I had a perm. My hair is so flat and straight!! Lol but...if I had my way...I would have it covered by a nun veil!! Lol
AnneLine Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Nikita, you must feel VERY strongly about this! Edited January 16, 2013 by AnneLine
bernadette d Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 So pleased about the change..................not a saint :saint: (yet) and don't have a perm but I can live with this! :like2:
A Yearning Heart Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I like it too :) I wonder who the patron of hairdressing is?
BarbTherese Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 According to Catholic Online - Saints Martin de Porres and Cosmos & Damien are the patron saints of hairdressers. Interesting! I haven't read the links to their descriptions myself as yet. http://www.catholic.org/saints/patron.php?letter=H

Lil'Nun Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Of the two terms. I felt somewhat insulted by the first, even though I had read the thread in Open Mic, but am somewhat complimented by the second. I get to be a Saint. Kind of. Even if I don't have a perm.

St Martin de Porres was also a barber :) totally random....perhaps dust is dropping a hint to help the hairdressing industry flourish. Maybe the next person you see with a perm is a Phatmasser :hehe:
BarbTherese Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 the links are quite detailed. St Martin de Porres was also a barber :) Thank you. :) Just about to switch off computer for night (9.22pm here in Sth Aust) - making a note to have a look at the link when I can.
AnneLine Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 After a phew Phat Years, I no longer am insulted by the titles... they come and they go... I did hate losing being a 'saint' at one point.. and I guess I still haven't arrived... pray for me.... I guess I am still in the army....
emmaAntigonos Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I didn't even realize it, till someone said something! Lol Doesn't bother me! <(-: I don't mind being a saint, even if I do have straight hair. :-)
nikita92 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I didn't post my remark that many times!!! Honest! Lol..
Eowyn Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Whoa... that is awesome. I am becoming entranced.
Oremoose Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I don't mind being a saint, even if I do have straight hair. :-) At least you have hair.
